Welcome to Comanche Flyer Foundation's training clinics. Our programs are designed to provide comprehensive training and skill development for Comanche pilots and owners. Whether you're a novice or an experienced Comanche pilot, we have the right program for you.
Curriculum
Comanche Pilot Proficiency Program (CPPP)
Wouldn't it be fantastic to get away for a weekend, to think and talk about airplanes, and specifically your airplane the whole time with pilots and owners just like you? It's like summer camp for adults. But with airplanes. The CPPP clinics usually run from two to three days and are scheduled at many locations around the US, providing this training to help you be a more proficient pilot with better understanding the nuance of your Comanche. The Ground School portion of the CPPP Clinic will provide Comanche specific classroom training to help you become a safer, more proficient Comanche pilot by reviewing:

-
Flight systems including maintenance and preflight items
-
Federal Aviation Regulations
-
Performance calculations
-
Weight & Balance procedures
-
Aircraft Systems & Limitations
-
Emergency and abnormal procedures, including participating in a hands-on demonstration of the Emergency Landing Gear Extension system and procedure using CPPP's Landing Gear Simulator and a Comanche on jacks.
The CPPP Flight Clinic Training portion will provide up to 3 hours with your personal CPPP Certified Flight Instructor receiving one on one instruction. At the end of this flight program you will receive your Flight Review (BFR) (providing all qualifications are met), as well as a CPPP graduation certificate satisfying the recurrent flight training requirements of most insurance companies.
During the Type-Specific Clinic You Will
-
Explore best practices for flying your Comanche (single or twin.)
-
Refresh your knowledge of emergency procedures, aircraft systems and more.
-
